Sharh-i Usul al-Kafi (Commentary upon the Usul al-kafi) , bab of Fardh al-ilm , Volume 2

The second volume of Mulla Sadra's Sharh-i usul al-kafi is on the interpretation of the hadiths of the part on the virtues of knowledge.

This book consists of 22 chapters. The titles of some of them are as follows: Fardh al-ilm wa wujub talabah wal hath 'alayh, Safat al-'ilm wa fadhlah wa fadhl al-'wamah, Asnaf al-nas, Tawwab al-'alim wal-muti'allim, sifat al-'ulamah, Haq al-'alim, Fiqh al-'alim, Mujalisat al-'ulamah wa suhbatuhum, Su'al al-'alim, Badhl al-'ilm, and Nahi 'an al-qul bigheye 'ilm.

This volume of Mulla Sadra's commentary on Usul al-kafi has been published with research and edition by Seyyed Mahdi Raja'i under the supervision of Professor Seyyed Mohammed Khamenei in 628 pages, along with various lists of verses, traditions, etc, and an index of important names and terms by the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Institute.
